Profiliant Independent Consultant (PIC) Program

The Profiliant Independent Consultant (PIC) program is a special program designed for capacity building and talent replication by tapping into the rich knowledge and experience of carefully selected professionals and experts who are also gifted in sharing their diverse knowledge and professional experiences. The PIC program is designed to provide Independent Consultants with a platform for expression, exercise of their expertise and creating alternative income streams. Independent Consultants possess relevant skills backed with industry-based experiences which are brought to bear on the consulting or learning intervention programs run by Profiliant. Profiliant provides intellectual property (IP) and access to the training/certification programs mandatory for acceptance into the program.

How it Works

The program is designed such that consultants can work from their area (s) of strength while building additional capacity. To participate, an Independent Consultant applies to Profiliant in writing, invests in a 8-step certification program and then starts selling/delivering engagements.Profiliant invests continuously in brand development, market awareness, leads/demand generation and the development of high level client relationships vital for success in selling to target customer segments.

Stages To Certification

The program fundamentals involves the following stages:

  • 1. Recruitment Interview (Includes online assessments)
  • 3. Execution of Contract/Agreement
  • 5. Participation in by Independent Consultant in the relevant Train-The-Trainer/Certification Programs
  • 7. Opening of Account in Salesforce.com CRM & Training in the CRM system usage
  • 2. Decision on Subject Matter Areas and Track (s) ( see Listings below)
  • 4. Participation by Independent Consultant in the relevant Public Enrolment Programs
  • 6. Participation in by Independent Consultant in the relevant Consulting Skills Coaching/Certification Program
  • 8. Seminar/Workshop Sales Boot-camp Training

A certification program can take from a few days to 1 year.

Engagement Model

As all content under this program are governed by strict intellectual property (IP) rules, two types of engagements models currently exist:

 A certified Independent Consultant can sell an engagement directly to an end-customer based on the IP Profiliant or her partners offer, but the contract is between the Independent Consultant and the end-customer as parties. This can be delivered alone by the independent consultant wholly inline with the legal agreement requirements, or the consultant can co-deliver with Profiliant

Independent Consultant can be invited by Profiliant to co-deliver on engagements that Profiliant has sold where the contract is between Profiliant and the end-customer

Independent consultants are required to re-certify at intervals of 1-2 years, or as advised by Profiliant. Continued participation in the program even after certification requires Independent Consultant’s to deliver a minimum number of programs of consulting engagements in any financial year.

Earning Potential (Fees)

Typically, Independent Consultants are expected to sell the portfolio of products and services within Profiliant for which they are certified. Compared to other geographies, Independent Consultants working part-time can potentially earn fees of $60k-$300k PA. Independent Consultants earn through the two main vehicles of fees and honorariums.
